My name is Ilsa. I’m based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, and work with clients from across the world – currently from the UK, Europe and the United States.

Before starting as a freelance copy-editor and copywriter in 2007, I gained experience in a load of other areas, from studying in Germany to working in different industries and countries. I could never have imagined enjoying work as much as I do now.

I take language books on holiday . . . I work evenings and weekends . . . I relish any queries and special requirements. Above all, I love helping businesses, non-profit organisations, publishers and writers to create or improve just about any type of written content. I have worked as copy-editor and/or ghostwriter on a number of books – contact me for more details about those.

My services and fees are flexible and reasonable. Once I’ve seen some or all of the work involved, I’ll give you a quote based on my estimation of how long the work will take. If it takes less time than expected, I’ll charge you less (but never more if it takes longer).
