Whatever you’ve written, you might not feel very excited about making it perfect. All the formatting, syntax, style, consistency, verb tenses, hyphenation, headings, punctuation, capitalisation, factual accuracy . . . plus the typos your spellchecker can’t pick up.

For me it’s an obsession.
